We have had such a great experience at Gold Medal Gymnastics in Levittown! The facility is clean, welcoming, and has so much to offer for kids of all ages and skill levels. The coaches are encouraging, patient, and really make the classes fun while still helping the kids build confidence and improve their skills. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and you can tell they truly care about the kids and their experience. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to advance, Gold Medal is a wonderful place for gymnastics and Ninja. Highly recommend the Levittown location!

What Is Advanced Ninja?

A boy jumping from wall to wall in our Advanced Ninja classAdvanced Ninja is a challenge-focused obstacle course training program at Gold Medal Ninja for kids ages 6 and up who have already built a foundation in ninja training. While earlier ninja classes teach the five core components one skill at a time, Advanced Ninja puts those skills together on full obstacle courses that change from week to week and get harder as your child improves.

Every class is built around technique and speed. Kids work through a rotating variety of obstacle courses inspired by the ninja competitions they see on television, testing their strength, balance, and hand-eye coordination against the clock. They train on the equipment that makes Gold Medal Ninja unique, including the ninja rig, the rock wall, and the warp wall.

The result is a class that feels less like a lesson and more like a competition. Your child is not just learning skills, they are learning how to string those skills together under pressure, which is exactly what the next level of ninja training demands.

What Your Child Will Learn

Advanced Ninja builds on your child’s existing skills and pushes them toward speed, control, and real competitive readiness. In this class, your child will develop:

  • Greater strength and body control across full obstacle courses, not just single skills
  • Faster, cleaner technique for getting through challenging obstacles under time pressure
  • Sharper balance and hand-eye coordination on the ninja rig, rock wall, and warp wall
  • The focus to read a course, plan a route, and adjust in the middle of a run
  • The confidence that comes from completing obstacles that once seemed out of reach

For an energetic child who has outgrown the basics, this is the outlet that keeps them engaged instead of bored. Every course completed is visible proof of progress, and that sense of achievement is what builds the kind of confidence that carries over to school and every other sport they try.

Is Advanced Ninja Right for My Child?

A Gold Medal Ninja Team Member Climbing On RingsAdvanced Ninja is designed for kids who already have ninja experience, so the honest answer depends on where your child is in their training. If your child has been through Ninja Kids or has spent real time on obstacle course training, this is the natural next challenge. If they are brand new to ninja, they will get more out of starting with a foundational class first.

This class moves fast and the obstacles are demanding, but demanding does not mean unsafe. Every course is run under the supervision of trained ninja coaches, and the gym’s equipment and obstacle courses are designed specifically for kids to build up to hard skills the right way. Your child is challenged at the edge of their ability, not pushed past it.

There is no formal evaluation required to enroll, but if you are unsure whether your child is ready for this level, the coaches are happy to help you find the right starting point. A child placed in the right class from day one stays motivated, and that is what keeps them coming back.

What to Expect in Your First Class

Become a Ninja Training: Conquer Parkour Training with GMGC!A first Advanced Ninja class follows the same fast-paced structure your child will come to know: check-in, warm-up, and straight into obstacle course training. When you arrive, your child checks in and joins their group on the floor while you find a spot to watch. Advanced Ninja is an independent class, so this is your child’s time to train while you enjoy watching them push themselves.

A typical session starts with a warm-up and strength conditioning to get bodies ready for demanding obstacles. From there, kids move into the heart of the class, working through the day’s obstacle courses, refining technique, and running for time and speed. Coaches give individual feedback on each attempt so your child knows exactly what to adjust on the next run.

For class, your child should wear their Gold Medal Ninja level shirt along with comfortable athletic shorts or leggings, and bring a water bottle. If your child does not have their level shirt yet, the front desk can help you sort that out before the first class.

Advanced Ninja Prepares Your Child For

Advanced Ninja is the training ground for competitive ninja. As your child masters full courses with speed and control, they build exactly the skills needed to try out for Ninja Teams, Gold Medal’s in-house competitive program where ninjas represent their gym in tournament-style Ninja Challenges against other Gold Medal locations. For a child who loves the challenge and wants to test themselves against others, this is where the path leads.

Spots fill quickly, so find your location above and get your child enrolled.
